.

What Lionel needs:-

Lionel runs best on a dry flat surface, including grass. The bigger the area the better the ride, but the minimum must be about half the size of a football pitch. The running area must be pedestrian free at all times, with a physical barrier to ensure accidental entry is prevented We provide and erect a simple barrier of stakes and high visibility plastic fencing with all the necessary warning signs.

We must have an access area, so that people can see us and be able to queue easily when waiting their turn.

If the driver feels the area is becoming a danger (rain makes some surfaces very slippery) the rides will have to be suspended until the conditions improve.

Note: Leighton Buzzard Lions Club has full Public Liability Insurance View Insuranceand that means that only members of the Lions Club can operate Lionel.
